Falsies Used in Mascara Adverts

Hopefully this is just gossip for you and you didn't actually think your lashes would get longer just by using fancy mascara.

This “1-2-3 Looks Mascara” UK Rimmel ad has been banned by the British Advertising Standards Authority from running in magazines. A disclaimer, "Shot with lash inserts", has been added to both the print ads and tv spots.

I guess the ASA is just covering their booties but they need to give the consumer a little more credit.

Who didn't know mascara companies uses falsies?

Thanks Styleite

I've noticed recently that a lot more mascara advertisements have disclaimers somewhere stating that the inserts were used along with the mascara. However, I think the average consumer is already aware that the images in mascara advertisements are going to be enhanced in some way.

Yea I guess they are covering their a$$ but like we said .. we are not that stupid.
