Hey Bella, Happy Halloween!

I never dress up because the plus size costumes are just DREADFUL. Well, this year I found a costume in my size and I didn't look like a "fattie" in it!

Since I am feeling "couple-e", my boyfriend and I decided to be Fashion Super Heroes and save you guys from all this faux fashion running around, LOL.

Each year our good friend transforms her house in the ultimate haunted crib. She's fills her uber cute cape cod with coffins, mummies, Chucky dolls, and even turns her gargage into a Haunted House. We chill out in her backyard under the fire pit all while stuffing her faces with good ole nasty Halloween candy and beer! I mean your teeth are eventually going to fall out anyways right?

Model Behavior - my birthday shoot

In case I didn't tweet or facebook it enough - my birthday is in a few days (Nov 4th). It's clearly my favorite holiday, besides Christmas and Thanksgiving.

This year I decided to take a few photos for my party flyer and I think I have that model itch again.

Long before I decided to try my hand in graphics, photography, and now writing, I modeled. I gave it all up for the love of planning and being behind the scenes. But I think I'll do a few more shoots just for fun.

Spanx For Men launches in the UK

Every girl knows and probably owns a Spanx. It's probably considered one of the best brands to give you that tight tummy with virtually no work involved.

Well now your boyfriend can have a firm flat tummy too. Founder of Spanx, Sara Blakely, said: "We applied our 10 years of knowledge and expertise in compression fabrics and transforming the body to this first-of-its-kind collection for men."

Blakely adds, "The men in my life, and in Hollywood, have been asking me to make Spanx for men for years, so I was inspired to create comfortable and powerful undershirts that provide instant gratification without gimmicks. It's your favourite t-shirt without your least favourite part... love handles."

5 Reasons to "Say NO" to Lace Front Wigs!

Emore J Couture said it best - "THE Worst Invention to the average woman".

OK, so let me not assume everyone knows what a lace front wig is. Simply put - it's a wig that is made to appear as if its your hair growing naturally out of your scalp BUT it's really a wig. I say work with what God originally gave you and keep it movin'.

BUT I know we all like diversity in our lives and some days you want long others maybe you want something short. Perhaps you're feeling like a blond or maybe even a red head. A rule of thumb should be - unless you're bringing in the millions like Bey, Mary J, J Hud, or Tyra (just to name a few) lets just stick to a good ole fashion weave! I mean even the celebrities don't ALWAYS get this right.

 

1. Cheap is never good. If your lace front only cost you $39.99, chances are you are going to look ... crazy...deranged! 

2. If you are going out for a night at the club or going for a workout, you're going to get a little hot, right? Trust, that lace front will ripple around the edges like the Atlantic Ocean.

3. It's not and should not be worn as an everyday wig ... unless you are a celebrity or maybe for a medical reason.

4. Makeup is often applied on the hairline to disguise the wig which to me just seems like a bad idea. Now we can clearly see the outline of the wig!

5. Did you buy the lace front made with synthetic hair? #EPICFAIL!

If I missed any reasons PLEASE comment and be a good friend and tell her that her lace front isn't quite working out. Take up a donation at your job for a new weave for her. She'll love you in the end.

WATCH & VOTE for me: I AM FULL TIME FABULOUS - Sunglass Hut's Fashion Blogger Contest

During my visit at Fashion Week this September I literally LIVED in the AOL Media Lounge. Here is where I bumped into several fab fashionistas. I met a woman who worked for Sunglass Hut and she bragged about this awesome contest that they were having and I should enter. As she explained why it was so awesome all I really heard was $100,000, Manhattan loft, and get paid to travel and blog! UMM, Sign me up.

Of course I waited until the last minute and yesterday I finally recorded my video. Mainly because of my excellent talents in procrastination but partially because I wanted to size up my competition and get some ideas on what I wanted to do. The rules asked each "contender" to explain why they would be best for the job and to be creative. So I searched the contestant videos and I watched at least 50 ... and I was BORED!

I was determined not to let you guys down! So I got with my good friend Tiara, who is an up and coming Baltimore artist and model, and we came up with a 30 second piece for me to RAP! YES rap! Now.. there are tons of things I CAN DO! But I soon realized rapping isn't my next gig.

Take a look at some of my outtakes from the recording session and have a laugh at my expense.

Of course there were at least 76 other takes but these were the videos I HAD to share with you! Say a prayer and cross everything you can. I am officially a contender but MORE IMPORTANTLY I need to win!

And then I died! I cannot explain my absolute love for wedged heels but they make my heart go *tha-gong tha-gong*, like on Dirty Dancing when Johnny is trying to teach Baby how to dance. Perhaps that's an exaggeration but you get my point.

Although my heart is in LOVE with this wedgie my wallet hates it! $650.00. Nope not I.

My boyfriend has always loved watches and I never understood the hype. Until recently. I was introduced to a new accessory brand - TKO Watches.

With prices ranging from $50 to $295, these TKO's won't knock you out of your budget (I know, horrible joke but I couldn't help myself, LOL).

I love these watches because they're simple but uber chic. More importantly they come in several bright shades of purples, pinks, yellows, and blues.

So to spice up my gray and black wardrobe this fall I will add a bit of color with a purple TKO watch. (it would make a GREAT Bday gift too, hint hint!)
